Weekly Update #49

RIP my chair. This is what happens when you keep on trying to be cheap when it comes to things that you use for 8+ hours every single day. Anyways, I mentioned this on Discord and in the latest TQH chapter, but my chair got fucked. I basically have no back support now and literally no other chair here fits right with my desk, so I'm basically stuck sitting on a broken chair until my new chair gets here. I finally bit the bullet and bought a high-end chair, too. Expensive, but great reviews and part of a meme at the same time.

Anyways, because my back is already killing me, please bear with me if posts are late this week. Everything will be out for the week still, but it's hard to write when you have to sit in a broken chair and have back pain. A chapter that should have only taken me 6 hours already took me 10 to do because of the discomfort. But, I shall persevere until my new chair is here which hopefully won't take more than 2 weeks!

One of the downsides to buying a good, high-end chair is that I couldn't buy it through Amazon so no free 2 day shipping.

The True Endgame

Gonna be some action this week! Not much to say other than that, really. The less there is to say, usually, the better.

Ero Dungeon Evolution

New system \o/. It's simple, but it let me introduce a new character, it's going to move things along, and a lot more actual LitRPG progress can be made with it. When I eventually get around to revising the story in the future, if I ever do, then I'm not sure whether I would just edit it to start with this system or leave the original system in. I suppose we'll just have to see how things work out!

The Queen's Hound

We're going to be going back into grinding and leveling in the tower and all of that now, but with much better pacing than before and a larger focus on character growth and interactions, and some discoveries! Quite a few hints have already been dropped and even more were dropped with this latest chapter. So, it's going to be interesting to see if anybody picks up on what I'm going for with this and a certain character in particular.

Lazy Dragon Queen

Fuck me I love romance so much. Vala x Drake is just so gfdsgfesd. I was basically fangirling over my own chapter when I went to reread it the next day. I just love everything about them. I definitely need them drawn. Vala is just precious and all attack but with no defense, and Drake is getting more comfortable and embracing his role as a bantering, teasing, and flirting MC!

The Volcanic Dungeon

I can't fucking wait until the MC of this story actually gets his humanoid body and the romance gets rolling. Because, let me tell you, this story is also going to be heavy on romance, flirting, and teasing once the characters are actually able to do it. You can think of it kinda like... the romance/sex in Re: Monster but way more. There are also going to be some pretty great bromances involved. In fact, one of the characters present is going to become one such bro. But who?

Anyways, yeah. I can't wait until a lot of the really fun stuff starts happening since the story is very much in its prologue phase right now. It's going to be more of a kingdom building novel with a wide cast of characters than a strict dungeon novel.

Because of that, I'm thinking of changing its name to something like... I'dunno, maybe "Core?" The first volume could be "Core: Volcanic Dungeon"

or "Core: The Volcanic Dungeon"

"CORE: Volcanic Dungeon"

or something. I don't know. Either way, "the volcanic dungeon" probably wouldn't be a good long-term name for it in the same way that EDE's name isn't.
