Weekly Update #73

It's just one thing after another. First there was the stuff with my grandma, then the hurricane, and then this week there was stupid-bad back pain and the AC unit broke last night (while it was 82F at night with 79% humidity), but that just got fixed an hour ago, thankfully.

That aside, another week's worth of chapters has been completed \o/.

Oh, and just to be transparent, I did edit my Patreon a little. The changes are:

I reworded the advance chapters in the tiers to make them more simplified and easier to understand.

I removed the "Get to vote on occasional polls for content in side stories" benefit from the $10 tier because I haven't even had a side story in over a year, so it was kind of there for no reason.

And aside from editing the text about me on the display page and changing the format of the listed stories on there and all that... that's it! Extremely minor changes. Oh, and I changed the banner image and reworded the goals.

46 hours, 22,439 words \o/. Now if only I got paid by the hour. That'd be nice.

The True Endgame

Last week had a sort of heavy chapter, and now this week had a very light chapter. Gotta let people relax after what happened last week! Also, I've gotten the first WIPs from Mango for the rework of the first volume's cover, and it looks much better already \o/. Serra looks much more mature and smug in it, too. She's still clearly Serra, but she looks far more like how I picture her now.

Ero Dungeon Online

Just like how TTE went from heavy to soft, EDO went from lewd to random slice of life. I think that there's a pretty good balance so far of lewds, slice of life romance, and video game stuff. I'm just so much happier with this still than I was with EDE at a comparable point in time.

The Queen's Hound

The third volume has begun \o/. I think that it's off to a pretty good start already and sets up the volume for a more focused plot. Woofen will finally get to show off some of his skills/experience from being a thief back when he was a human, many more characters will be getting introduced, and we'll be seeing far more of all the vampires this volume!

Lazy Dragon Queen

The second volume had a pretty different start from what the rest of the story was like, but now it's going to swing back into the vidya side of the story and it's going to swing hard in that direction. You can also expect more waifus soon. And, once the harem begins to grow, it's not going to slow down.

CORE

I had an idea for CORE while I was writing it. I think it could potentially be pretty interested if I got drunk, or at least very tipsy, and then wrote - I mean, and then if CORE wrote a chapter while he was drunk. I mean with the typos and rambling and everything. I mean, I can picture him drinking a bit too much and then writing a chapter while drunk, and then wanting to leave all the typos and mistakes in. Whether I actually do this or not, I have no idea, but it's something I'm seriously considering attempting. The only problem is actually getting myself to write while I'm drunk.

In Closing

Thank you for your continued support! I feel like all the chapters I wrote this week were pretty good, and I'm looking forward to this week's chapters being just as good if not better! Hopefully.

Time for me to take a couple of days off before getting back to the writing grind!

This week, I'll be trying to make kombucha for the first time. Maybe kimchi, too.
