Weekly Update #76

Wew, two weeks in a row of being on an on-time schedule! Just ignore the fact that TTE only had 10 minutes left before it'd be counted as "late."

Aside from that, this was an overall good week in general and a great week for writing.

A short weekly update is a good weekly update since it means no drama and everything is right in the world!

48 hours and 34,675 words total this week - that's almost twice the amount of writing I usually do!

The covers are done \o/. Now I just have to actually go and edit the volumes, and then I can start publishing.

Haha, yay, stress and pressure.

Lots of pressure.

I keep getting my hopes up but I don't want to. I've seen people with half the followers of me on RR with much worse average ratings make $6k within a couple of works on Amazon's KU... so I'd like to think I could get that as well, but I'll be super disappointed if I hope for that but don't get it.

So, I'll try to set very conservative hopes for myself. If I can sell just 100 copies then I'll be happy (and it would make money back on the cost for one cover).

I might be used to the web posting and patreon and all that stuff, but I still have no idea how self-publishing to Amazon is going to work out for me which is the biggest thing to a self-published author, so... :sweat:
