There we go, a week full of releases at exactly 9am each day. Pretty nice, right? I've still got a couple of chapters I need to write before Monday, but one of them is already halfway done, so that won't be an issue at all. Regardless, I'm digging this schedule.

47 hours, 38,253 words since the last one. Still got some more to go this week for next week's chapters, but that's the system workin' as intended! I get to just kinda do the chapters whenever I feel like and you still get to have the chapters on time by 9am Mon-Fri!

The True Endgame

Something that I wouldn't have thought of happened. By writing CORE and having CORE talk about how he felt like he wasn't doing his monsters justice and needed to write more about them, I realized that I'd like to give some more depth and growth to the main cast of TTE, too. They're probably been the most static out of all my casts since the story has gone on the longest and they've had spurts of growth spread throughout it, so I think it'd be nice to try and focus on fleshing them out some more for a bit.

The Queen's Hound

Man, now this has made me torn all week. First off, I'm not going to change my vision for the story. It's just that... seeing how an evolution chapter with a bunch of LitRPG-y stuff happening in it got me like 20+ new patrons within 48 hours and basically undid 6 months of declining Patronage, it helped me remember that people really like their LitRPG stats and all that. Meanwhile, the current arc is focusing much more on political/philosophical morality and what's right/wrong rather than fancy numbers.

I bet people weren't expecting this story to go in this direction when they first saw LitRPG with somebody being reincarnated as a puppy with a thirsty dark elf.

That's probably why when chapters actually do have LitRPG stuff, they get a ton more views/discussion/new patrons >_>.

Regardless, I'm very happy with the story and especially with the direction that it's going in even if it's not exactly Patron-grabbing friendly. This has just made me realize that if I really want to be financially secure, I should probably write a LitRPG that actually focuses heavily on the LitRPG parts of it and keep it that way.

I'm very, very much looking forward to the next chapter. CORE is such a good boi and now it's time for him to fangirl over his monsters some more while expanding on their lives/personalities.
