Weekly Update #83

As I said last week, no LDQ nor TTE this week since I'm taking the next two days off for holiday. Then no more breaks until Christmas week.

Anyways, this was a good week. My internet died right before it was time to post EDO this morning, so that was annoying, but it came back to life at the last minute, thankfully.

Not much there this time for obvious reasons. 19 hours, 14,672 words.

Though, I say "not much there," but most professional authors current and throughout history only write 500 - 1,500 words a day. Writing 5,000 words a week, by professional standards, is considered a lot. Meanwhile, there are plenty of people whose perceptions are warped by web novels who think that 5,000 is barely anything = P. Completing one 80k word book in a year is considered an achievement by non-WN standards.

Let's see how much I've written so far this year...

When I look at that number, I don't feel too bad taking a couple of days off for Thanksgiving.

Ero Dungeon Online

I'm very happy with the chapter that was released this week. Personally, I feel that even though Lily wasn't the focus of these last two chapters at all, she still managed to completely steal the show and win no insignificant amount of best girl points.

The Queen's Hound

Sort of a winding down chapter after the chapters that came before it while teasing some future things. Not the best chapter, but one that I'm happy with, especially since it fleshed out Elanah some more I think.

CORE

I said that things would be accelerating and I intend on staying faithful to those words. I think that this sudden chapter proved that. It's time for CORE to be serious.

In Closing

Happy Thanksgiving! Or, well, Happy Excuse-To-Eat-A-Lot-And-Not-Work Day! Does anybody even celebrate Thanksgiving for Thanksgiving anymore instead of just use it as a traditional day to eat a lot and take time off?

I have a mum who taught history and ruined Thanksgiving for me before it was cool for Thanksgiving to be ruined.
