Weekly Update #72 (Hurricane Edition)
Added 2019-09-03 02:43:00 +0000 UTCWhelp. Getting these chapters done took me a lot more time than I wanted them to take. Why? Because that hurricane, Dorian, was heading directly for me at some point and predicted to impact here.
Two things.
One, I'm already somewhat of a hobbyist storm tracker, so I love following all the models coming out, tracking storms on the radar, reading information from recon flights flying into the storms, and so on. I love tracking storms like these as much as I am a weeb.
Two, it was important for me to track it this time since I was at risk of being hit by it.
These two combined resulted in me spending almost every minute of my free time tracking the hurricane. If I wasn't writing, I was tracking the hurricane aside from one hour spent gaming over the past week. Since I got kind of obsessive and addicted to it (those in the Discord know I haven't been able to shut up about it and have been posting stuff about it every day), this also resulted in me getting very little sleep between trying to track the hurricane as much as possible while not sleeping so long that chapters would be late.
Finishing tonight's TTE chapter required three naps throughout it since I kept on passing out in my chair while writing it. Now that I'm done writing for the week and that it is extremely unlikely to even get tropical storm force winds here, I can get myself a full night's worth of sleep.
And now there are two more disturbances in the Atlantic forming off of Cape Verde that have a habit of coming this way, so I'll be keeping an eye on those in the next two weeks if they develop and don't head out to sea. The first disturbance is set to be a fish storm while the second one has been modeled to have a track suspiciously similar to Irma which /did/ hit us directly and knock out power for a couple of weeks.
Anyways, since it seems like I won't need to make a special post addressing the hurricane and potentially losing power for a few days, I figured I'd just talk about all that stuff here!
I love tracking hurricanes.

35 hours, 18,921 words. Considering that I've been obsessively tracking a hurricane all week, I'd say that that's not too bad.
The True Endgame
There would be a whole lot to talk about if I talked about the $10 chapter spoilers here, but I guess those of you who aren't on the $10 tier will just have to know that there are some big ol' things happenin' now that have been a few volumes in the making.
Also, I've officially commissioned Mango to remake the first volume's cover and then do covers for the other five volumes. The girls will finally be getting their illustrations! Once these covers are done, I can seriously start investing time into editing the volumes to self-publish on Amazon.
Ero Dungeon Online
The more I write this version of the story, the happier I am with it. It's just so much closer to everything I wanted it to be. It sucks that I definitely won't be able to post it on Royal Road, but I'll probably start posting on Hentai Foundry again. Maybe some other lewd sites if there are any good ones, too.
The Queen's Hound
The second volume is officially complete! It ended up having more slice-of-life moments that I originally planned, but I'm still happy with it, and the third volume is going to really start kicking off the main plot of the series that I've had planned for a while. Expect a lot more characters, new places, and more plot arcs to start showing up!
Lazy Dragon Queen
Similar to TTE, so much to talk about, but so much I can't say without spoilers. What I will say, though, is that the cover illustration is done now! All that's left is to actually make a cover out of it.
CORE
I'm still gay for CORE. Anyways, more spoiler stuff that I can't bring up, and the volume is going to be faster paced from here until the end of it! Probably. Part of being 95% a pantser is that I don't exactly know how things are going to go until they're going.
In Closing
Hurricanes fun, lack of sleep not fun, new month, thank you for your continued support! I hope that you continue enjoying my stories throughout the month, and there may be some surprises in store for you later this month! Only time will tell!
Until next week!
