Plot :
Over one thousand years before the return of Nightmare Moon. Crystal Heart, young, sheltered princess of the Crystal Empire, happens upon a dark-coated unicorn colt on the verge of death just outside of the city's limits. Saving his life, she learns his name to be Sombra, and many years later, with the both of them now at the cusp of adulthood, decides to take him on as her secret lover.
