First, the obvious hand off our DM offered us, the sirens song, which we might not have time to learn. Second, the plundervines, the possible problems therein being A: do they reach that far from Everfree and B: how long will it hold. Defensively, as long as the hole doesn't get spotted, we have an out for younger hive members. Assigning the guard to this task over our safety, even temporarily, will aid in rescue efforts greatly. If the hole where widened, we might get out more, but we have to manage what we can do after assessing the situation on scene. Additional planning will be necessary real time once we have more information from the source. (I'm hoping I have a decent interpretation of our options with given information)
