2018-01-09 19:14:31 +0000 UTCCreation was selfish, but the origin (forgot its name atm) probably made the whole cycle of Destruction being asleep the whole time for a very good reason, for the same reason that Creation botched her purpose: attachments can make it hard to do their jobs. Creation could have easily just kept recreating the same world she loved so much every time it was her turn, but she wanted THIS version to keep going, because she was allowed to walk among all that she made. Destruction, has no attachments, no reasons to hold back or hold off, so its a perfect 'I'm here to destroy all these things' with no 'I'm killing these people' or 'I knew this pony' getting in the way. Compare Destruction's situation to the extreme as A) playing a video game that is just mindless destruction, no plot, no characters, no attachment, next time you play you can do it all over again or B) having to kill your dog that you've raised since they were a puppy and they're your best friend, and you have to do it with your bare hands. Eventually, B would still lead to 'putting them down' when the world has withered too much, as is Destruction's purpose, but it will be much harder for Destruction to do that, and will probably break Destruction's 'heart'. In that same line, Creation has essentially broken the system, because after Destruction succeeds in his purpose, there will be nothing after that until the origin (see first case) fixes things, because there's no longer a Creation to follow Destruction.

2018-01-08 16:47:37 +0000 UTCSleeping away most of the time and never getting to know just how the world is progressing doesn't seem particularly fair. I'd imagine that was not how the plan originally was laid out between Creation and Destruction. It's starting to sound like maybe Creation was a little bit selfish in her original deal.
