Nothin' Otter The Ordinary Episode 8: Shrine

Would you look at that, a new NOtO episode! Admittedly this one took a bit longer to complete because I ended up introducing a brand new character into the fold. There have been other characters introduced in the past of course. My sister being a prominent aspect of previous episodes, and introducing community members Popcorn and Benny in the previous episode. But those characters have been brief, and they've all been otters.

Not this time! This time I introduce a completely new species into the mix of potential episodes: Arin the Red-Tailed Hawk! I rarely draw bird OCs, and I still have some learning and practice to do. But for a new attempt, his design and proportions aren't too bad!

Onto the meat of the episode itself. Understandably, the gamers out there, especially Zelda fans, will REALLY understand this particular episode. But I think that even non-gamers or non-Zelda gamers will still find some humor and fun with this one. Breath of the Wild was my first ever experience with any Zelda game of my life, back in 2021 or 2022, I believe it was. I do wish I'd been able to record all of it, it was truly a hilarious spectacle what I did during so many of the dozens of hours I was initially playing.

I still have plenty of fond memories of playing it for the very first time. These are some of those memories.
