Lost Sorrows, Finalized
Added 2022-04-01 17:00:09 +0000 UTCMy concept art piece for my comic Hunters have been well thought-out for some time, which means I am also putting a lot of effort and time into drafting and coloring them. This one probably took longer than the first concept art, Boundless Earth & Starry Sky, but Lost Sorrows is now officially finished.
I had never even designed Gina, Nyrali, Marlo, Pema, and Laramie before, but I am very happy with how the designs, patterns, and colors turned out. Same with the willow tree; I have never drawn, and especially not colored a willow tree but I am incredibly happy with the results. And of course, having my white paint markers to add in the stars after coloring the twilight sky is much easier than my methods from the past.
Each of these characters connects to a wolf from the comic in some way, and despite all 6 no longer living in the world of Hunters they had important effects on those that cared for them long ago. Whether the story, a character, or even both, these six lost wolves are not forgotten and have an important place in the history of the world I have created.
So there's some food for thought whenever you might be reading future pages.
