A Complete Redraw for Hunters Page 167!
Added 2022-06-09 14:01:02 +0000 UTCNow this is something real special. If I told you that I drew up a scene of Hunters that took place pretty far into the story, and put that scene together over 10 years before it actually came to pass, how would you react?
Hold any applause or surprise or confusion for another time though, because that's kinda false.
The piece was titled First Pack Hunt. This is the first where we see Laruk hunting with a large group of other wolves. She is unsure of things, and somewhat watches as the patrol takes down this deer.
Though, it's more accurate to say that I simply drew this up trying to practice wolves and full-sceneries back then. But when I was detailing and organizing the story and events for Hunters years later, I saw an opportunity and decided that eventually I would redraw this entire scene for the comic, basically as a whole page panel.
The characters used in this page are the same, but their designs have changed, I have given them more active poses and expressions, and I still adjusted certain aspects of the scene to basically make it brand new! I cannot believe that this was something I even put together long before I worked on the first page of the prologue, and now here it is, an incredible redraw that really showcases my progress that is thiiiis close to finishing up Chapter 2 of Hunters! I am so excited to finally be able to show this to you!
