Portal 2 is back folks! And wow, what a playthrough! Looking back, there's a ton of stuff that happens here.
Besides the occasional eating of dinner, I am introduced to some new gels, I end up making a sort of frenemy out of GLaDOS, oh, and did I also fail to mention that J.K. Simmons is freaking hilarious in his role as Cave Johnson? Humorous bits that expand on the story and worldbuilding, heck yes, I am game for that! Especially if you got a nonsensical personality like J. Jonah Jameson giving the shpeal.
It did take me a hot second to refamiliarize myself with the puzzle-solving aspect of Portal 2, but it didn't take me too long to get back into the groove! The goal is clearly to get out and to get GLaDOS back in control of the facility so that Wheatley doesn't fuck everything up, but that's much easier said than done. There's somehow still a lot of up left, a lot of deathtraps...but luckily a ton of hilarious dialogue to keep us sane in the meantime.
