I feel like I should open this post with what Michael Chu said.

I just want to make sure you understand that Overwatch's Lead Writer wrote that joke. That's right -- Michael Chu himself, the man, the myth, the mind behind the entire game, just kicked you in the gut with a dad joke on the level of Hi, stunned readers, I'm dad. He's certainly not alone, however, because the thread he posted in is 23 pages long and full of such hits as Why is Mercy the best support? Because she has such high heals! (Destian, the OP in the thread, I think that joke gave me a hernia) and there's Rethilgore's What did Pharah say during the hail storm? Just ice rains from above! which I think might be illegal in some municipalities.

What I'm saying is, the Overwatch forums like them some dad jokes, and apparently even the minds behind the game just plain can't resist. I guess with Soldier:76 in the game, it can't really be helped. He is a dadly weapon all by himself.
