Watching Blizzard: Passing by patch day
Added 2018-01-17 04:08:08 +0000 UTCPatch 7.3.5 rolled out on the WoW servers today, and unlike that .5 designation implies, it's a big patch.
The realms came back up later than expected (to some panic), but now everything's back online. And though we did a rundown of the patch yesterday, here's another rundown of what's in 7.3.5, just in case you missed it:
- A better leveling experience, with low-level zones that scale and no more need to buy flying for each expansion.
- Legendary item tokens that will let you (maybe) finally get the right Legendary for your class and spec.
- New content in Silithus, with faction-specific story quests and the Seething Shore battleground.
- More backpack slots!
- Ulduar Timewalking as well as changes to the raid itself.
But there was also a patch in Heroes of the Storm...
- Today's update brings awesome new mecha skins and a major rework to Tyrael.
- Oh, yeah, and there's this anime teaser trailer. Maybe you'd be interested in that, too?
And StarCraft 2 is getting an update
- Part of the latest game update is undoing the last game update... so we'll see if this actually improves game balance.
