Watching Blizzard: We're all sane today

It's Monday, which means we're about to say goodbye to the World Quest bonus event in WoW. It was fun while it lasted. (Okay, really it wasn't fun at all, but I appreciate the rep gains.) Tomorrow Wrath Timewalking begins,  with our first shot at Ulduar Timewalking. Are you looking forward to spending some quality time with Yogg-Saron? Bowing down before the god of death, being consumed by madness, etc etc? Then this week is your chance!

But if you aren't into any of those things, there's still the usual assortment of Timewalking dungeons in WoW (and don't forget all those World Quests), a new Heroes rotation is kicking off, and... well, okay, I don't actually know of anything else interesting happening until next week. (When Overwatch League will be back, Hearthstone's Wildfest event starts, and Diablo Season 13 kicks off.) So enjoy this relatively peaceful (Yogg aside) week while it lasts!

Now let's look at the news.

Stage 1 of Overwatch League is over

• The London Spitfire came out on top, and now it's time for rosterpocalypse while the teams shake things up before Stage 2 kicks off next week.

• The  Battle for Azeroth starting scenarios were briefly live on the alpha servers, which means we know everything. Like to be appropriately scared of Jaina.
• Anne has been exploring Drustvar on the alpha. Check out Fallhaven and Alpine Rise.
• It's no surprise that Rossi is getting in some playtime with his favorite class on the alpha. Here are his first impressions of Warriors in Battle for Azeroth.

Adopt a good doggo of your own

• The recently datamined dog mount is here. Shu-zen is now for sale in the WoW store. 13/10 would pet.

• Politics among the Sin'dorei are... complicated, to say the least.

Already thinking ahead to the weekend?

• Then you should know Overwatch will be free to play this weekend. If you haven't picked up the game, it's hard to say no to free.
