Watching Blizzard: It was time for a (news) coffee break
Added 2018-03-14 07:16:43 +0000 UTCSo what happened today? Unfortunately, not much, especially after yesterday’s Hearthstoneexpansion announcement and all the rest. (And “the rest” adds up to an awful lot.) But who knows: maybe Wednesday will be so busy that we’ll look back on this quiet Tuesday with nostalgia.
But even on a slow news day, the Battle for Azeroth alpha marches on, and there’s always something to be datamined.
If I say so myself, there is one thing I’m pretty excited about…
Bees!
- This bee mount will be mine and I will ride it everywhere, terrifying my opponents with the furious sound of buzzing. Ideally, I will find a bunch of friends who also want bee mounts so we can buzz into battle in a furious fleet of insect wings. Be afraid, everyone. Be afraid of my theoretical bee army.
- Also there’s a frog mount. It’s no bee mount, but if you can’t deal with buzzing, I suppose a frog is an acceptable substitute.
- … but how will we get these beauties? No word yet. (Except that I am doing whatever it takes to get that bee.)

But don’t despair, because we have a Battle for Azeroth Q&A on Thursday and Overwatch League kicks off again on Wednesday evening — where we’ll finally get to see how the Dallas Fuel do without the drama of xQc following them around. And if you need something to entertain yourself with, you can browse through Anne’s adventure galleries from the alpha. There’s a lot to see, and you may as well take this downtime to see it.
