Watching Blizzard: We are obsessed with Vulpera and you just have to deal with it

I’d say I’m sorry, but I’m really not. Vulpera are just so cute that I can’t wait to play one. The only flaw in that plan is that we don’t actually know if Vulpera will ever be playable. Blizzard has made no comment on the matter… but the Battle for Azeroth alpha keeps getting more Vulpera customizations and animations that many people are expecting them to become an Allied Race in the future.
Hopefully the immediate future.
But in the meanwhile, let’s look at today’s rather sparse news.
Vulpera! Vulpera! Did I mention Vulpera?
Overwatch League is back tonight
- This week’s matches kick off with the Boston Uprising vs. Dallas Fuel at 6 p.m. CDT. It’s the first match for the Fuel since they dropped drama-plagued player xQc… but they’ve already played most of the season without him due to suspensions, so it may not make much of a difference.
- I was hoping after xQc was dropped that we could stop talking about him, but I was wrong. The Washington Post interviewed him today, proving that all you need to do to earn national fame is be a jerk. But to give xQc credit, he does show some understanding of his problematic behavior… even as he seems confused as to why he was punished for it. It’s an interesting interview that also infuriates me, so I’ll stop talking about it.
- My favorite underdogs, the Shanghai Dragons are back tonight, facing off against the Philadelphia Fusion at 10 p.m. CDT. There’s no word on the arrival of Shanghai’s new recruits, so I am not particularly hopeful about seeing improved play. Still, I’ll be watching and hoping for the best. Goooooo Dragons! You can do it!
The WoW community is pretty great
That’s not much going on, but…
That’s all for today, folks. This is Liz, signing out suspiciously early today, so I assume some breaking news will happen the instant I walk away from my computer. Have fun with that, everyone.
