(I was in Antorus fighting Coven at the time, but fortunately Mitch responded to my SOS and wrote it up so I didn’t have to try to summarize all things 8.0 between pulls.) as many of us expected, WoW’s big patch day is coming next week: 8.0 is dropping on July 17. So what else is there to talk about? Get online and finish your last Legionactivities because a number of them will be gone next week (along with your supercharged artifact). That’s it for today, let’s call it.
Okay, okay, there was some other news today, so I guess we’ll talk about it.
Extreme acts of WoW
- A group comprised wholly of tanks has cleared Heroic Antorus. And as you might guess, Rossi is pretty excited about that.

- Looking for a new deck to try? Then maybe one of the winners from the latest championship is worth a try. Matticus has a roundup of deck lists for you to test out on the ladder.
- And if you need more Hearthstone esports, the Global Games are kicking off soon.
- And if you aren’t into esports, there’s that whole Boomsday thing to look forward to.
Multiboxing PVPers will see some changes in the expansion
- It looks like the /follow command will be disabled in War Mode, making it tougher for PVPers to control multiple accounts. Multiboxing isn’t likely to go away, but we’ll probably see less of it.
And that really is everything in the news. The datamining is (probably) over, and the day of patch chaos is near at hand. We may be in for a few more quiet, news-free days until then.
