Watching Blizzard: It’s quiet… maybe too quiet…
Added 2018-07-13 21:35:24 +0000 UTCAfter the big reveal that patch 8.0 is arriving on Tuesday (or Wednesday for those of you in Europe), it's been a quiet day for all things Blizzard. Still, we'll work with what we've got. Here's the Blizzard day in review.
Definitely our top news story
- The L.A. Valiant made a fairly weak effort to replicate a Disney Channel commercial. Now it's a meme.
Rossi is back on the Diablo beat
- This week, he takes a look at Mathael, Diablo's Archangel of Wisdom, who turned into something ... rather different in Reaper of Souls.
We're also getting some adorable new animal models in patch 8.0
- Okay, sure, there are a ton of gameplay changes. But the important stuff is the cute. Like the game's classic polygonal prairie dog turning into a ... well, a prairie dog.
- I'm still waiting for the update that turns the pangolins on the Timeless Isles into actual pangolins, because they are definitely armadillos right now. Maybe next patch.
