Monday has come and gone like the tide, and as I write this, we’re already zooming towards maintenance time — and another week of story bombs. If history holds, in a few hours we can expect to be infuriated by another tragic story, but your mileage may vary.

But enough about what’s happening in the future. Let’s talk about the news.

So there’s been a little controversy around Sylvanas…

Battle for Azeroth novellas flesh out the story

Speaking of controversy, the game’s story arc hasn’t been well-received by everyone, but two new novellas (available as free downloads) shed a bit more light on Azerothian current events.

The new Overwatch Summer Games skins really wow, but mostly Waveracer D.Va

The Overwatch Summer Games are returning at the end of the week, and with them comes a beachy D.Va skin that’s steeped in Korean culture.
And this beachy Ana skin certainly can’t be ignored. You’re rockin’ that hat, Ana.

Speaking of D.Va…

We’ve gotten the first look at the nerf replica of D.Va’s Light Gun and it is perfect.
Not into pink? Reaper’s Hellfire Shotgun is coming, too.

Boomsday has nearly arrived in Hearthstone!

The expansion launches at 10 a.m. PDT in the Americas, so get ready to log on and open up your pre-order packs and grab your three free packs.
But if you’re looking forward to the single-player Puzzle Lab mode, you’re in for a wait: it launches later this month on August 21.

We’re still missing Overwatch League

Season 1 may be over, but we can enjoy reminiscing about it with the London Spitfire.
