Lore Watch Episode 82: Is Battle for Azeroth about the faction war, or death itself?

Along the way some emails are answered, and discussion turns to the expansion’s theme. Sure, they say it’s all about the faction war, but it looks like the focus is on something else entirely. In addition, how about that Warbringers: Azshara short? It’s a slightly longer than usual episode, and fair warning – there are spoilers within.

Loa are <a href="https://wow.gamepedia.com/Wild_God#Loa" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">basically Wild Gods</a> (for the most part, but excluding Bwonsamdi) just related to/venerated by the Trolls instead of the Elves. Even Bwonsamdi could've originally been the Loa of Trolls, eventually turning into the keeper of their souls. 2. Sargeras' stab into Azeroth... maybe it was a realization "I am defeated, but maybe your way of fighting the Void still has a chance" and so he stabbed into Azeroth, maybe to hit some corrupted place, maybe to be a catalyst for Magni's Champions of Azeroth... This whole line of thought is inspired by Ra-den's words when defeated: "But there is a yawning chasm of darkness beneath you mortals, vast, endless, and all consuming. I do not believe that you can correct this doomed course. But... you have earned the right to try. Farewell."
