Watching Blizzard: Were you ready for Monday?

I was not ready for Monday, which is how Monday is already over. Woosh. Like a wave pushing us down into the deep seas. You know, where the dance parties are. Everyone who's anyone is there.
But enough about that. Let's see what's up in the news. (Spoiler alert: Not much.)
Did I mention not much? Because not much.
- This weekend the first Overwatch League season finally came to an end with the All-Star games, which were dang fun to watch. While all of my teammates are raving about the talent takedown (and associated trash talking), I think I liked the Widow v. Widow matches best. Winner Surefour has some excellent tips so you can be as good as he is. Maybe. It can't hurt to try, right?
- Diablo's baby brother Mephisto is coming to Heroes of the Storm Tuesday. Pretty excite, right? Right? I admit, I'm a little burned out on the non-stop stream of new heroes, but I'm sure at least one of you out there is excited. However, Mephisto isn't in game now and when he is we'll be playing a waiting game for the next hero announcement.
- PAX West starts this weekend — and may be a good time to announce a new hero — but that's a whole week's wait. Basically forever in internet time.
- Dragoncon is also this weekend, and there are some lore panels scheduled, but again, this weekend. I.e. forever.
Maybe we can find some nice lore to keep us company while we wait
Is it a bug fix or a nerf?
You're still here? You want something else?
- Okay, fine. I do have one more piece of news for you. A Kickstarter campaign soon to be in progress will give us a deep dive into Vanilla WoW's development. And if this preview of the Scholomance section is representative, I can't wait. (But I'll still have to wait.)
That's all for now, my friends. Until next time, this is Liz, signing out.
