I think the sky healing doesn't block the way to the Shadowlands at all, just the open door to the Maw. It's not until after the Zoval is defeated that a ton of Azerothians (like Philia Fintallas and Ol'Emma from Before the Storm) show up in Oribos at once to start looking for their lost loved ones, and I don't think they're about to be trapped just when they've arrived
