Blizzard Watch Podcast: Tazavesh is the best city ever, and more WoW patch 11.2 observations

On this week's preshow, Joe, Liz, and our special guest host Liz Patt discussed how based in consumption current fandom is. You can't just like a video game, you also have to buy all the merch, and as Liz said, you only have so much space to hold it all. Joe is especially annoyed about how that glut of stuff affects Magic: The Gathering, and does so increasingly, as Hasbro realizes that, if they release more cards, people will have to buy more cards to keep up. If you want to break out of this vicious cycle, you can skip to 34:00 to speed past the preshow.

This week our host is our special guest, Liz Patt, who has a lot of opinions on Diablo, but she's also here for a discussion of patch 11.2. The team love Tazavesh, 10/10 city, no notes, though they remain a little skeptical of Broker culinary pursuits. We also looked at the Race to World First, which is underway as raid guilds contend to see who can get the first Mythic kill of Dimensius. Plus, General Manager Rod Fergusson has left Diablo, and we aren't quite sure what that means for the series. And in a segue which is no way jarring, we turn from Diablo to the Wholesome Games Festival on Steam, and some of the cute and cozy titles we enjoyed from that showcase.

Thank you so much for your support, and we hope you enjoy the show!
