This is from a Japanese Mega Drive magazine from 1993. It is double page so I have try to put the full size together for you. Let us try understand the problem of Capcom's game names??
In Japan this Mega Drive game was called Street Fighter II' (Dash) PLUS. It is just Street Fighter II: Champion Edition with new super speed options. Because the Super Famicom had Hyper Fighting (or Turbo in Western ) in 1992 and the Mega Drive did not get this version , they add speed to the Champion Edition home port. Is confusing? Yes! Let us take a look at the weirdly names for home console only:
1992 | Super Famicom: Street Fighter II
1993 | Super Famicom: Street Fighter II Turbo (This is Hyper Fighting in Japan from arcade Hyper Fighting. .. But if you choose 'normal' mode then it is Champion Edition)
1993 | Sega Mega Drive: Street Fighter II' (Dash) PLUS (The 'dash' look like this: ' . This game was called Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition on USA Genesis. but this is really just Champion Edition from arcade with speed select system to make it fast like Turbo.
Hope it is clear!
