I’m very excited to reveal August’s Postcard of the Month! This piece was a huge delight to work on, and brought me a lot of artistic breakthroughs that I’m looking forward to expanding on. I got to play with gradient maps again, which is always a fun time, and drew inspiration from autochrome photography from the very early 20th century.
With this piece I’m getting back on my preferred schedule, with postcards finished well in advance of their delivery month, and deliveries going out within the first two weeks of the month. Look forward to an August bonus card poll soon!
Just as a reminder about the tier structure, since I’ve gotten a few questions: This card will be received by Crow Collectors and Raven Dandies! Raven Dandies will receive two copies of it, one to keep and one to share, as well as the monthly bonus card in addition! If you’d like to adjust your tier, you must do so before August 1st.
Lastly, as compounding work and my move made me very busy, I had to leave a few letters unresponded to. I hope to pick those back up soon! As always you are welcome to write back to the return address on your envelopes (wait for July’s deliveries to have an updated return address!) and I always do my best to answer when I can!
