Update on Bonus Cards!

Good afternoon, Blackbirds! 

August’s silly bonus cards turned out just beautifully. There’s not much that cant be improved by gold foil! 

I wanted to let you in on my little behind-the-scenes scuffling with bonus cards for the Raven Dandy tier. 

My intention when I introduced this pledge reward was to present two options every month for you to select a bonus card from via poll. Typically, this was older works or works made outside the MBPS.

As my work schedule has evolved, especially to allow for work on an original graphic novel, I am rarely making any artwork — especially to my usual standards — outside the Postcard of the Month or Anise & the Devil! Naturally, this means my archives of options are dwindling, and thus I’ve frequently been making decisions without a poll as of late. 

So, I simply wanted to acknowledge to you all that the nature of the Raven Dandy bonus reward is in flux! It isn’t going anywhere — Every month, Raven Dandies will always receive a physical bonus reward! I’m simply coming up with some new ideas for what that could include — and I’ve got them in spades. ♠️✨ I’m going to keep making decisions that are fun, surprising, collaborative, and maybe even allow me to do some stylistic growth and experimenting outside the more polished MBPS style you’ve come to expect. Whenever I have the opportunity, I will continue to poll for your opinions, but polls for the bonus card will no longer be a guaranteed monthly feature.
