Lair Divers Tale 26-28 ~~ Final Chapter and Discussion!
Added 2022-08-01 16:00:10 +0000 UTCHello! So, attached are the final three chapters of Lair Divers Tale, as well as the entire book in one file.
With the final three chapters done, its time to have a discussion that has been bubbling in the back of my head for a while.
Writing this book has been an amazing learning experience. I have learned a lot about writing in general, about my own writing style and the things I struggle with. Unfortunately learning a lot from something doesn't mean that its good. I think that this book is far below what I can consider acceptable level of quality for what I want to officially put out. I won't go into specifics, most because I'm worried the list will be to long, but I'm not happy with the result.
So, what does this mean? It means I will almost certainly dropping this story idea and leaving it as a Patreon exclusive. Unless a massive amount of you are desperate for a conclusion, in which case I will write an abridge group of chapters for what the rest of Brennan and his teams adventure would have been.
Baring that however, I will be taking next month off from book writing to plan and brainstorm a new book idea from the ground up. (Meaning that there will be no five chapters on the first of September.)
I apologize to anyone that was avidly following the book, though I have a feeling that is a small overall group. If anyone who has been following has any constructive criticism or words of wisdom, please leave them in the comments!
