Arcana Norrix

Today I have some studies that I did. If you aren't familiar with the mobile game "The Arcana" it is one of my favorites because 1) AMAZING art style 2) Super cool characters and 3) Compelling romances and story lines. It's a dating sim technically but I had some really great plots.
Anyways, I am still awaiting my launch date from Webtoon (COVID really slowed things down). In the mean time I did a style and color study from "The Arcana" drawing Norrix in the game's style (attempting to anyways) and studying some of the coloring and lighting. Obviously "Suitor Armor"s style is VERY different but it was still a really interesting experiment and has given me some proper exercise in lighting for future scenes.
I really enjoy studying and trying to copy other styles - it's a great way to learn.
Anyhoo, hopefully I will be able to show you more stuff directly related to the comic in the future. Thanks again for your continued support and please wear a mask and stay safe!
