Grandpa's Letter Home WWII

I read a letter from our Grandfather to his parents written December 5, 1942.

Warning: Some racially insensitive terms were used in the letter, but I decided to read it as is, and not censor them to preserve the context.

Please don't cancel me because of my Grandpa.

... And on a similar subject of how important Grandfather Alex's work was to let freedom win, y'all should be watching Chernobyl on HBO. It's not primarily about nuclear power. It's about how incredibly awful the Soviet system of society was.

We thank God for His faithful servant Alex, who's unfaltering ethic, like many of the Greatest Generation, won the war so that we could grow up free from totalitarianism, socialism, and fascism. An we thank Alex for his faith in the future to procreate, that without we wouldn't have our new friends Bridget and cousin Maggie. Thank you for your service Alex. And I pray we soon realize how critical those two simple tenants to life are, which is sadly lacking today.
