🌍 Summer Content Update

Dear Patrons,

As I get set to head off to Bilbao I’m pleased to now give you an update on our schedule for the summer.

Firstly, for the week ahead, content will look a little different, as you will see when the schedule goes out tonight, but I hope you will still enjoy what we have on offer.

The following week is a Bank Holiday in the UK on the Monday (26th), so we'll do our Gameweek 38 Review Podcast and our Patreon Q'N'A On the Tuesday, followed by The Clayton and James Show and Tot&Ham on the Wednesday, before I take a short break for ten days from Thursday the 30th of May. Content will then resume again on Monday June the 9th.

The reason for taking a short break now is two-fold. Firstly, I catch the last couple of days of Harry's half-term and then I can reset from what is likely to be a big mental crash from whatever happens in Bilbao on Wednesday night and get plans in place for our summer.

I am then going to take another two week break, starting from Friday July 18th, before returning with Suj for Podcasts on Friday August 1st ahead of Correspondent Week that will kick off on Monday the 4th.

Again, and most importantly to me, this maximises the amount of time I can have with Harry when he breaks up from School for the summer and also allows for a bit of a mental break for myself ahead of Correspondent Week. That's something I know I truly benefited from last year, and will most likely need ahead of next Summer because as it's a World Cup year there's not likely to be much of a break from content.

As is common, we normally pause billing cycles for one month in the summer, irrespective of whether we produce content or not. We have decided that as you'll lose two weeks of content in July and one in June it makes more sense to pause billing in July for this year. 

If anyone has any concerns with that plan, queries, questions, anything at all. Please DM me, we will help. As I always say, you support us, we will do what we can for you too. We know the challenges many of you may be going through in the current economic climate. We won't be increasing any membership costs for the 2025/26 season.

It's worth noting too that Suj will be away for the first couple of weeks of July and with Clayton heading off to America in early June it's difficult to say at this time how much involvement he will be able to have on the Podcast in the summer and into next season.

So, you'll be needed! Whether that's through your contributions or suggestions I'm ready to hear your ideas..  just let me get through this week first in Bilbao first!
