📌 GW33 Team News Article

Hi Patrons,

Back safe from a brilliant trip to Frankfurt.

At the top of the post you'll see three team images. The first is my team as it stands with 2FTs available. I will definitely go Howe to Arteta and will likely use the other to go Palmer to Saka (see middle image). Intention has been to take a -4 for a third Arsenal asset, but I'm probably going to skip it now.

Reason being is the third image on the right which is how I would be set for GW34 which would have 9 players. I don't think it looks too bad and I’m not sure a Wildcard team that would require future balance consideration would outscore it even if I take a -4 (I would). So, if I can escape the weekend without issues the intention would be to now Wildcard in GW35, where I’ll have the bonus of knowing the outlook for 36 and 37.

There are no changes to the projections for GW36 as it stands, so that would mean Villa v Tottenham and Man City v Bournemouth being brought forward if Villa and City win their FA Cup Semi Finals.

We know the Villa game has to be brought forward now if Villa make the Cup Final (unless there is a provisional announcement of two possible dates subject to what Tottenham do in the Europa Semi. *unlikely).

I’ve had information suggesting that Sky wish to show a game on Thursday in GW37 and it could well be Man City v Bournemouth goes into that slot if rescheduled.

The key point here is that though the projections are for four teams to double in 36 the most likely number might be two.

If the Cup Final is Palace v Forest I don't think there will be any doubles in 36. Those teams may still double in 36 but if it’s against each other specifically in the final I can't see any logic in it.
