As a way to say thank you to all of you who support the Stormux project, I am happy to introduce a specialized Stormux gaming image. You can always grab the latest version from https://stormux.org/patreon

The link requires a user name and password that are used to access the content. The username is "patron" without the quotes. The password will be shared monthly in a post.

Be sure to review the offerings from time to time, because more than just the image will be available. For example, I have been working on a new game I plan on releasing publicly in October. Patrons will have access to it much sooner.

More about the gaming image. This is a very early, pre-alpha version. Some things do not work yet, for example BallBouncer is included, but only makes it to the intro sound playing before hanging and crashing. Many things do work, however. At this point, I recommend it for those who like to tinker with the Pi, it is not meant to be a daily driver usable desktop, it turns your Raspberry Pi into a gaming console. Also, security is not as tight on this image as in the normal Stormux image, so please take that into consideration when using it, e.g. don't do banking or bill paying from it.

The image boots to a menu where you can launch the item of your choice. Use up and down arrow s to select an item, or left and right arrow to change the category (Arcade, MUDs, Strategy, etc). There is a second TTY available if you want to log into the system. The username and password is "stormux" without the quotes.
