Just dropped Kokkoro's set in the archive. This was a reward for the Bacchanal raffle winner.

So a few things happened, might as well use this as a pseudo-blog post as usual. You might notice the image count is really high. Yeah, shit happens. There's no way this should be a 1shot, but I already said it would be and I'd feel like an ass if I changed that, so I'd rather give you guys more. I love both of these characters and went a bit overboard, but I was also testing some things.

First off, got some alternate styles working. You can see a few examples in the Mihari set, and I just posted some with Tamamo on discord as well. I also set up some inpainting steps but all that really translates to is "thing look better" so I'll skip the details.

Second, I learned how to make variants! Again, you can see a couple examples late in the Mihari set. I've wanted to do some more sequential stuff once in a while, and this should be the best way to do it. It's also only a step or two away from being able to make simple animations, but I don't want to promise anything until I know it's working, so... updates when I have them I guess.

さて、いくつか報告することがあるから、いつものようにこれをちょっとしたブログ投稿として使おうかしら。今回の画像数がめちゃくちゃ多いのに気づいた人もいるかもね。うん、そういうこともあるのよ。本来はこれ、ワンショットの規模じゃないんだけど、すでにそう言っちゃったから変えるのも悪い気がして…むしろ多めに出す方がいいかなって思ったわ。

どっちのキャラも大好きだから少しやりすぎた感はあるけど、同時にいろいろ試してたのも理由ね。

まず、新しいスタイルをいくつか試したわ。みはりの集でいくつか見られるし、タマモの例もDiscordに投稿したからぜひチェックしてみて。あと、インペイントのステップもいろいろ設定してみたけど、結局のところ「見た目が良くなった」くらいだから細かい話は省くわね。

それと、差分を作る方法を学んだの！みはり集の後半でいくつか例を見られると思う。以前から順番が分かる構成をもっとやりたかったんだけど、これなら良い方法になりそうね。簡単なアニメーションを作る一歩手前の段階って感じだけど、まだ確実に動くか分からないから確定情報は控えるわ。進展があればまたアップデートするわね。

長々と話しちゃってごめん、でもみんなにもっと良いアートを届けられるようにいつも頑張ってるってことだけは伝えたかったの <3。
