The Color Purple is my all-time favorite movie. You're totally right. Every character in that movie has a story. And the stories are absolutely powerful. Because it's such a deep and serious movie, it's not one I can watch all the time. Seeing you react to it brought me back to watching it and loving it all over again. Thank you.

I just watched this entire thing with you, and I am so glad your reaction was positive. This movie was hitting me hard today, so I don't feel so dumb crying to it for the 100th time. Also, I didn't want to miss any of Ashleigh's comments/reactions. It was actually kinda' fun guessing the scenes to which she was reacting. Of course, I'm still gonna' watch the edited version as soon as Ashleigh "beats the Copyright Labyrinth".
