Chapter 34: Biting Shark!

“You won’t escape… you rats… this will be your end…” said the Fatui agent as more and more guards surrounded us

“Lady Signora will be pleased…”

“Master Diluc… I’m running out of arrows…” said Amber with slightly rough breathing

“Oh no! We’re doomed!” said Paimon panicking while clutching her head

“Tch!” said Diluc not liking the situation

“Hehe… hehe…” The Fatui pyro agent is enjoying seeing us struggle

The guards kept getting closer surrounding us when suddenly a large explosion erupted

“Aaah!” The guards screamed as the explosion affected them

“That’s far enough Fatui!” from the hallway out came two figures. They were Jun and Jean. Jean readied her blade and Jun held the Attache Calibur.

“Jun! Master Jean! You both are alright,” said Amber with relief and happy seeing the both of them

“Hmph took you long enough,” said Diluc but if you look close enough you can see a slight smile on the corner of his lips. No one noticed it though

“Yay! Backup has arrived!” said Paimon raising her arms

“You came…”

“Yeah sorry we got held up a bit but don’t worry. We’ll clean them up in no time.”

Jun POV

“I ran towards the Fatui guards and slashed at them with the Attache Calibur. With the strength of Freezing Bear, they were defeated easily. Jean was not to be left behind either. With her sword, she defeated more guards easily. Lumine, Amber, and Diluc, not to be outdone, also attacked the guards once again which turned to our advantage. Suddenly the Fatui pyro agent appeared before me and took a downward slash against me. I blocked his strike with the Attache Calibur but could not have pushed him back

“You think with you two here will make a difference… think again…” he managed to push me back and kicked me in the chest knocking me to the floor. He went invisible again and I lost track of him.

“Jun be careful!” said Amber worried I could not handle him

“Don’t worry Amber, if I can’t see then I’ll just have to sense him.” from my inventory, I took out the Biting Shark Progrisekey

A holographic body of water appeared around the hall. A sudden splash was heard and something big jumped out of the water. A giant blue mechanical shark appeared making a splash. It continued to swim around me showing its fin.

“What is this…” The Fatui agent said while still being invisible

“Let’s go!” I inserted the Progrisekey into my driver

The chest armor split into two and moved to my forearms forming a shark’s fin and my faceplate split into two and went to my sides. It then flipped looking like jaws and my leg plates moved to the side. The shark jumped out of the water and it turned into blue light particles and formed new armor. The faceplate was cyan colored resembling a shark with dark red eyes, and fins on the sides and top. The chest and shoulder armor had gills attached and my forelegs and little fins sticking out. This is Kamen Rider Zero-One Biting Shark form

“Now it is a shark,” said Lumine

“It looks so cool!” said Amber excited on seeing my new form

“Let’s see if you can escape a shark’s senses!”

I focus on using my sense of smell to find the pyro agent. When I got him I looked in his direction, my eyes scanned him revealing his figure

“There you are!” I jumped towards him, slashing at him using my forearm blades. He was surprised at how I discovered him but he reacted too late. I hit him in his chest splitting apart his delusion which deactivated his invisibility

“Aaah!” He got knocked back and tumbled to the ground. He weakly stands up clutching his chest

“How did you find me…”

“A shark’s senses are not to be underestimated!” I lunged at him with my forearm blades aiming at him. He blocked my strike and tried to slash me as well. This exchange happened multiple times before he tried to stab me but I stepped forward dodging his blade and grabbed his arm with my two hands as if chomping on it. I twisted my body making his body twist as well off his feet and slamming his back to the ground

“Gah!” The agent got the wind knocked all out of him. He got up and I slashed at him getting cuts all over his body and kicked him knocking him back

“Gaaah! How… how did this happen…”

“I dunno but… Omae wo tomerareru no wa tada hitori, ore da! (There is only one person who can stop you, and that's me!)”

I pressed the side of my driver to initiate the finisher

[Biting Impact]

I took a step forward making a slash upward sending the agent into the air. I took another step forward making a slash upward sending him higher into the air and I did it again for the third time. Holographic fins stacked on top of each other appeared on my forearms I jumped into the air and slashed at him intersecting the sets of fins

[Biting Impact]

“AAAH!” the agent exploded making the rest of the guards despair. With the agent gone the rest of the guards lost morale and were easy to take out. After cleaning up I canceled my transformation and met up with the rest

“Jun! Thank Barbatos you’re alright.” Amber gave me a hug and I also hugged her back

“Sorry, I was late.”

“No… you arrived just in time.” We both looked at each other lovingly and stopped hugging

“What happened with you both?” asked Diluc

“When we were separated a Cicin mage ambushed us but we managed to defeat her,” explained Jean

“I see we did not have too many problems on our end. I guess all’s well ends well.”

“I think we should get the lyre now before more Fatui come,” Lumine interjected

“You’re right, let’s grab it and return to Mondstadt.”

We grabbed the lyre from the cage and exited the domain before any more Fatui could come after us. Outside Venti was waiting for us and was glad we were successful
