Ultraman A New Light Ch 25

As the five mobile suits soared through the sky towards Seaside Haven, the tension among the pilots was palpable. Athrun led the formation, his Saviour Gundam cutting through the air with precision. Behind him, Shinn's Impulse Gundam, now fully assembled, kept pace alongside Luna's Gunner ZAKU Warrior and Rey's ZAKU Phantom. Bringing up the rear was Haru in his green ZAKU Warrior, his movements slightly less fluid than his more experienced comrades.

Athrun's voice crackled over the comm system. "Everyone, stay alert. We don't know Eleking's full capabilities yet. Shinn, Luna, you'll take point once we arrive. Rey, provide cover fire. Haru, stay back and observe for now."

A chorus of affirmatives echoed through the channel. Athrun's eyes flicked to his radar, noting Haru's position. The newcomer's ZAKU was holding formation, but Athrun could sense a slight hesitation in its movements.

"Haru," Athrun called, switching to a private channel. "How are you holding up? This is your first real combat mission, isn't it?"

There was a brief pause before Haru's voice came through, a mix of nervousness and determination. "I'm okay, Athrun. A bit nervous, but I'm ready to do my part."

Athrun nodded, even though Haru couldn't see him. "It's natural to be nervous. Just remember your training and stay focused. We're here to protect those people down there, but also to protect each other. If you feel overwhelmed at any point, don't hesitate to fall back. Understood?"

"Understood," Haru replied, his voice steadier now. "Thank you, Athrun."

As they approached Seaside Haven, the devastation wrought by Eleking came into view. Smoke rose from several buildings, and the sounds of panic and destruction echoed up to them. In the distance, they could see the massive form of Eleking, its serpentine body weaving through the streets, electrical discharges crackling around its antennae.

Athrun's voice came through the comm again, addressing the whole team. "There's our target. Remember, our primary objective is to protect the civilians and minimize collateral damage. Let's show this Kaiju what the MSKT can do."

As the MSKT team descended upon Seaside Haven, the full extent of Eleking's destruction became apparent. The Kaiju's massive form towered over buildings, its serpentine body weaving through streets with terrifying grace. Electrical discharges crackled around its antennae, sending arcs of energy into nearby structures and vehicles, causing explosions and fires to erupt across the cityscape.

Athrun's voice cut through the comm system, "Shinn, Luna, engage Eleking from opposite sides. Try to draw its attention away from the populated areas. Rey, provide cover fire and target its weak points. Haru, stay back and monitor the situation. Be ready to assist if needed."

The team sprang into action. Shinn's Impulse Gundam darted forward, unleashing a barrage of beam rifle shots at Eleking's flank. The Kaiju roared in anger, swinging its tail towards Shinn, who narrowly evaded the attack.

On the other side, Luna's Gunner ZAKU Warrior took up position atop a partially destroyed building. She aimed her long-range beam cannon, firing precise shots at Eleking's head and neck. The monster recoiled from the impacts, its attention now split between two adversaries.

Rey's ZAKU Phantom moved swiftly through the city streets, providing suppressing fire with his beam assault rifle. He targeted Eleking's legs and lower body, attempting to slow its movements and prevent further destruction of the city.

Haru, in his green ZAKU Warrior, hovered at a safe distance, his eyes darting between his teammates and the rampaging Kaiju. His hands gripped the controls tightly, ready to jump in at a moment's notice.

Athrun's Saviour Gundam transformed into its mobile suit mode, flying above the battlefield. He coordinated the team's efforts, calling out Eleking's movements and weak points. "Watch out for its electrical attacks!" he warned as Eleking's antennae began to glow ominously.

A massive surge of electricity erupted from the Kaiju, forcing the mobile suits to scatter. Shinn barely managed to raise his shield in time, the energy washing over the Impulse Gundam and causing its systems to flicker momentarily.

Luna repositioned her Gunner ZAKU, taking aim at Eleking's glowing antennae. "Those things look important," she muttered, firing a powerful beam that struck one of the antennae dead-on. Eleking let out a deafening screech, thrashing in pain and anger.

As the battle raged on, the team worked in concert, each fulfilling their assigned role. They gradually pushed Eleking away from the city center, minimizing further damage to the civilian areas. Haru watched intently, his fingers hovering over his controls, ready to provide support at a moment's notice.

As the battle intensified, Eleking's eyes gleamed with a malevolent intelligence. The Kaiju's antennae crackled with energy, building up to a devastating attack. Suddenly, arcs of electricity shot out from its body, zigzagging through the air towards the mobile suits.

"Incoming!" Athrun's voice rang out over the comm. "Evasive maneuvers, now!"

Shinn's Impulse Gundam barrel-rolled to the side, narrowly avoiding a bolt of electricity that scorched the air where he had been moments before. Luna's Gunner ZAKU Warrior dropped from its perch, the building behind her erupting in a shower of sparks and debris as Eleking's attack struck it.

Rey's ZAKU Phantom weaved through the streets, using the remaining structures as cover. The electricity followed him, shattering windows and igniting small fires in its wake. "This thing's persistent," Rey muttered, his usual calm demeanor slightly strained.

Haru, still observing from a distance, watched in awe as his teammates danced around the deadly lightshow. His grip on the controls tightened, ready to move at a moment's notice.

Athrun's Saviour Gundam transformed into its mobile armor mode, its increased speed allowing him to outmaneuver the electrical attacks. "Keep moving!" he ordered. "Don't let it pin you down!"

As the MSKT team regrouped, they began their counterattack. Shinn charged forward, his beam rifle blazing. "Take this, you overgrown eel!" he shouted, peppering Eleking's hide with energy blasts.

Luna took advantage of the distraction, positioning her Gunner ZAKU for a clear shot. "Targeting the other antenna," she announced, her long-range beam cannon charging up. With a burst of light, the powerful beam streaked towards Eleking, striking its remaining antenna.

The Kaiju roared in pain and fury, its electrical attacks becoming more erratic. Rey seized the opportunity, his ZAKU Phantom darting in close. "Engaging in close combat," he reported calmly, drawing his beam tomahawk. With precise strikes, he slashed at Eleking's body, causing the monster to thrash wildly.

Athrun coordinated the assault from above, his Saviour Gundam providing suppressing fire. "Good work, everyone. Keep the pressure on, but stay alert. It's wounded now, which makes it even more dangerous."

As the MSKT team pressed their advantage, Eleking's movements became more desperate. It lashed out with its tail, forcing the mobile suits to dodge and weave. The battle was far from over, but the tide was beginning to turn in favor of the defenders of Seaside Haven.

As the battle raged on, Haru found himself tasked with evacuating civilians from the danger zone. His green ZAKU Warrior moved swiftly through the streets, guiding terrified residents to safety. The young pilot's heart raced, torn between his duty to protect the people and his desire to join his teammates in the fight against Eleking.

From his vantage point, Haru noticed something alarming. The massive Kaiju had changed direction, its serpentine body now slithering towards a nearby power plant. A sense of dread washed over him as he realized the potential danger.

"Athrun!" Haru's voice crackled over the comm system, urgency evident in his tone. "Eleking is heading towards the power plant! I think it's going to—"

But his warning came too late. Before the MSKT team could react, Eleking's long, prehensile tail whipped out, wrapping around the power grid's main transformer. The Kaiju's body began to glow with an eerie blue light as it absorbed the electrical energy.

Shinn's voice filled the comm, laced with frustration. "Damn it! It's feeding off the electricity!"

The team watched in horror as Eleking's wounds began to heal before their eyes. The damaged antennae regenerated, crackling with renewed energy. The Kaiju's body seemed to grow larger, pulsing with power as it continued to drain the electrical grid.

Luna's Gunner ZAKU took aim, but Athrun's voice cut through the tension. "Hold your fire! We can't risk hitting the power plant. We need a new strategy, fast!"

As Eleking grew stronger, the defenders of Seaside Haven faced a grim realization. Their opponent, already formidable, had just become even more dangerous. The battle had taken an unexpected turn, and the MSKT team found themselves in a race against time to stop the Kaiju before its newfound power became overwhelming.

...

Eleking's body pulsed with newfound energy, its form now larger and more menacing than before. The Kaiju reared back, its antennae crackling with an intensity that made the air around it shimmer. With a deafening roar that shook the very ground, Eleking unleashed a barrage of electrical attacks far more powerful than anything it had displayed earlier.

"Incoming!" Athrun shouted, his Saviour Gundam barely evading a massive bolt of electricity that seared the air where he had been moments before.

The MSKT team scattered, their mobile suits moving with desperate speed to avoid the deadly lightshow. Shinn's Impulse Gundam rolled and weaved through the air, narrowly dodging strike after strike. Luna's Gunner ZAKU Warrior ducked behind a partially collapsed building, the structure disintegrating as electricity tore through it. Rey's ZAKU Phantom zigzagged through the streets, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake as Eleking's attacks obliterated everything they touched.

Haru, still in his support role, watched in awe and terror as his more experienced teammates danced on the edge of destruction. His hands gripped the controls of his green ZAKU Warrior tightly, ready to move at a moment's notice.

The relentless assault forced the MSKT team into a defensive posture, unable to mount an effective counterattack. Eleking, seeming to sense its advantage, pressed forward with its attack. The air crackled and burned, filled with the acrid smell of ozone and destruction.

As the mobile suits continued their frantic evasive maneuvers, Eleking suddenly changed tactics. The Kaiju ceased its electrical barrage and turned its massive body towards the sea. With surprising speed for a creature of its size, Eleking began to slither towards the water.

"It's making a break for the ocean!" Luna called out, her Gunner ZAKU emerging from behind the ruins of its cover.

Athrun's voice crackled over the comm, "Stop it before it reaches the water! If it submerges, we'll lose our advantage!"

The team rushed to intercept, but Eleking's massive form moved with unexpected agility. Shinn's Impulse Gundam fired a volley of shots, but they glanced off Eleking's electrically charged hide. Rey and Luna attempted to flank the Kaiju, but Eleking's tail whipped out, forcing them to pull back.

Before the MSKT team could regroup and launch an effective assault, Eleking reached the shoreline. The Kaiju's serpentine body slid into the waves, sending up massive sprays of water. In moments, Eleking had submerged itself, leaving only ripples on the surface to mark its passage.

The team hovered at the water's edge, their mobile suits poised for action but unable to follow. They watched helplessly as their target disappeared beneath the waves, leaving them to face the unsettling reality that their battle was far from over.

The surface of the water churned, and Eleking's massive head emerged, its eyes glowing with malevolent intent. Before anyone could react, a blinding arc of electricity shot from its antennae, streaking towards the MSKT team.

"Scatter!" Athrun's voice crackled over the comm, and the mobile suits dispersed in a flurry of movement.

The electrical blast struck the beach where they had been moments before, sending up a plume of superheated sand and steam. As quickly as it had appeared, Eleking submerged again, leaving only ripples on the water's surface.

Shinn gritted his teeth in frustration. "Damn it! How are we supposed to fight something we can't even see?"

"Stay alert," Rey cautioned, his ZAKU Phantom scanning the water's surface. "It could resurface anywhere."

The team hovered tensely, their mobile suits poised for action. Seconds ticked by, feeling like an eternity as they waited for Eleking to make its next move.

Suddenly, the water erupted once more, and Eleking's head shot up, this time closer to their position. Another blast of electricity lanced out, forcing the team to dodge frantically.

This pattern continued, with Eleking surfacing briefly to attack before disappearing beneath the waves. Each time, the team was forced to react defensively, unable to mount an effective counterattack.

"This is getting us nowhere," Luna growled, her Gunner ZAKU Warrior's sensors sweeping the area. "We need a new strategy."

As if in response to her frustration, Eleking burst from the water again, its attack coming faster than before. Luna, caught off guard, couldn't maneuver her mobile suit in time.

Haru, who had been observing the battle, saw the danger. Without hesitation, he pushed his ZAKU Warrior to its limits, racing towards Luna's position.

"Luna, watch out!" he shouted, ramming into her Gunner ZAKU and shoving it out of the path of Eleking's electrical blast.

The electricity struck Haru's mobile suit instead, arcing across its frame in a spectacular display of destructive power. Warning alarms blared in his cockpit as systems overloaded and shut down.

"Haru!" Luna cried out, watching in horror as his ZAKU Warrior stumbled, smoke pouring from its joints.

Haru gritted his teeth, fighting to keep his damaged mobile suit upright. "I'm okay," he managed, though his voice was strained. "Just... a little crispy."

As Eleking submerged once more, the team regrouped, now acutely aware of the heightened danger they faced. Haru's ZAKU Warrior sparked and sputtered, a stark reminder of the Kaiju's devastating power.

The MSKT team, frustrated by Eleking's hit-and-run tactics, decided to try a new approach. Athrun's voice crackled over the comm, "Let's try to flush it out. Target the water with sustained fire!"

The mobile suits lined up along the shoreline, their weapons trained on the churning sea. On Athrun's command, they unleashed a barrage of energy beams and projectiles, turning the water's surface into a seething cauldron of explosions and steam.

For a moment, it seemed their strategy might work. The water roiled violently, and they caught glimpses of Eleking's massive form thrashing beneath the surface. But the Kaiju proved more resilient than they had hoped. It dove deeper, using the ocean's vastness to evade their attacks.

"It's not working," Rey reported, his usually calm voice tinged with frustration. "We're just wasting energy."

As the team debated their next move, Haru saw an opportunity. With everyone's attention focused on the water, he quietly opened his cockpit and slipped out of his damaged ZAKU Warrior. The sounds of battle masked his movements as he made his way to a secluded spot behind a pile of rubble.

Once hidden from view, Haru took a deep breath and raised his arm, the UltraRiser glowing on his wrist. He tapped the screen, activating it, and was instantly transported to an empty space with a gate of light. Time seemed to slow in this ethereal realm.

"Shine! The galaxy's light!" Haru called out, his voice echoing in the void.

He reached for the deck holder on his belt, pulling out the Ultra Card bearing the image of Ultraman Ginga. With a practiced motion, he swiped the card through the UltraRiser.

[ULTRASCAN, ULTRAMAN GINGA] the device announced.

Haru then pulled down the bottom of the UltraRiser, initiating the transformation. [ULTRAMATCH: ULTRAMAN GINGA] the UltraRiser proclaimed.

A brilliant light enveloped Haru's body, growing in intensity until it was blinding. His form began to change, growing taller and more powerful with each passing second. The light coalesced around him, forming the distinctive red and silver armor of Ultraman Ginga.

As the transformation completed, Ginga stood tall, his imposing figure a stark contrast to the destruction around him. The Color Timer on his chest glowed brightly, pulsing with energy. Ginga's eyes flashed, scanning the battlefield before him.

With a powerful leap, Ultraman Ginga soared into the air, his sudden appearance catching the attention of both the MSKT team and the submerged Eleking.

The sudden appearance of Ultraman Ginga sent shockwaves through the battlefield. The MSKT team, caught off guard by the giant's arrival, watched in awe as Ginga soared over their heads.

Without hesitation, Ginga plunged into the ocean, his massive form disappearing beneath the waves. The water churned violently as he searched for Eleking. Seconds ticked by, the tension palpable as everyone waited to see what would happen next.

Suddenly, the sea erupted in a massive geyser. Ginga burst from the depths, his hands gripping Eleking's thrashing body. The Kaiju's serpentine form writhed in Ginga's grasp, electricity crackling along its skin.

With a mighty heave, Ginga lifted Eleking high into the air. The Kaiju's massive body twisted and coiled, trying to break free. But Ginga's grip held firm as he swung Eleking around, building momentum.

In a display of incredible strength, Ginga hurled Eleking towards the shore. The Kaiju's body sailed through the air, a dark silhouette against the sky, before crashing into the shallow waters with a tremendous splash.

Ginga landed on the beach a short distance away, his feet sinking slightly into the sand. He stood tall, his silver and red form glistening in the sunlight, a stark contrast to the chaos around him.

Eleking, enraged by the sudden turn of events, thrashed in the shallow water. Its body coiled and uncoiled as it struggled to right itself. Finally, it rose up, water cascading off its mottled skin. The Kaiju's eyes glowed with fury as it fixed its gaze on Ginga.

A deafening roar erupted from Eleking's mouth, filled with anger and challenge. The sound reverberated across the battlefield, causing the MSKT team to instinctively back away in their mobile suits.

Unfazed by Eleking's display, Ginga shifted his stance. His legs spread wide, anchoring him to the ground. His arms moved into position, one extended forward, the other pulled back and ready to strike. His entire body tensed, prepared for the impending battle.

The two giants faced each other, Ginga's determined silence a stark contrast to Eleking's continued roars. The air crackled with tension as they stood poised on the brink of confrontation.
