Wizard x MHA Chapter 11
Added 2024-10-01 22:40:34 +0000 UTCFive months have passed since the start of Izuku's training. His body has a bit more muscle due to his training. He has gotten used to his routine, but the exercise has not gotten any easier.
Izuku wipes the sweat from his brow as he finishes another set of weighted squats. His breathing is heavy, and his muscles ache, but he refuses to give in to the fatigue. Yuto stands nearby, observing Izuku's progress with a critical eye.
"Excellent form," Yuto says, nodding approvingly. "But I think it's time to increase the weight again."
Izuku nodded, steeling himself as Yuto adjusted the weights on the barbell. Just as he was about to lift it, the gravity around him suddenly intensified, making the simple motion feel like a herculean task. Yuto had used the Gravity Ring to increase the g-forces around Izuku.
Izuku grits his teeth, every muscle straining as he pushes against the unyielding force. Sweat pours down his face, and his vision blurs, but he refuses to give up. With a final, determined effort, he completes the rep, the barbell trembling in his hands.
Yuto nods, satisfied. "Good. Now, five more sets like that."
Izuku's heart sank, but he didn't protest. He knew Yuto was pushing him to his limits for a reason. Taking a deep breath, he began the next set, his body screaming in protest with each repetition.
With a final, exhausted push, Izuku completed the last rep. He collapsed to the ground, his muscles trembling, but a sense of accomplishment filled his chest.
Yuto approached, offering him a hand. "Well done, Izuku," he said, his voice filled with pride. "You're making excellent progress."
Izuku's transformation over the past five months had not gone unnoticed by his childhood friend, Katsuki Bakugo. As Izuku made his way through the halls of Aldera High, Bakugo couldn't help but observe the changes in his once-meek classmate.
Gone was the timid, quirkless boy Bakugo had known since childhood. In his place was a young man with a renewed sense of determination, his movements more assured and his presence more commanding. Bakugo watched, his brow furrowing, as Izuku engaged in conversation with their peers, no longer shrinking away from their gaze.
This irked Bakugo to no end. He had always viewed Izuku as beneath him, a Quirkless weakling who could never hope to achieve the greatness that Bakugo himself was destined for. Yet, here was Izuku, slowly shedding the label of "nerd" and "weak" that Bakugo had so eagerly bestowed upon him.
Bakugo's jaw clenched as he watched Izuku stride through the hallway, his shoulders squared and his steps filled with purpose. The explosive young man couldn't fathom how Izuku, of all people, had managed to transform himself in such a way. It was a development that challenged Bakugo's long-held beliefs about his childhood friend's limitations.
Izuku's phone buzzes in his pocket, and he quickly pulls it out to check the message. His eyes widen as he reads Yuto's text, summoning him to Dagoba Beach after school.
Izuku's brow furrows as he reads Yuto's message. This surprised him, as he thought they were going to patrol again for Phantoms. However, they had not encountered any in the last five months, which was concerning for them.
Izuku made his way to Dagoba Beach after his last class of the day, curious about Yuto's unexpected summons. As he approached the familiar stretch of sand, he was struck by the sheer amount of debris and garbage scattered across the area.
Destroyed appliances, discarded materials, and an array of other items had seemingly washed up on the shore, creating a cluttered, unkempt landscape. Izuku's eyes widened at the sight, wondering what could have led to this accumulation of waste.
Amidst the piles of refuse, Izuku spotted Yuto standing calmly, his red and black coat billowing in the sea breeze. Izuku hurried over to his mentor, questions already forming on his lips.
Izuku hurries over to Yuto, his brow furrowed with curiosity. "Yuto-sensei, what's going on? Why did you call me here?"
Yuto turns to Izuku, a faint smile on his lips. "Ah, Izuku. I'm glad you could make it."
Izuku asks what they are doing in Dagoba Beach. Yuto says he has a surprise for Izuku.
Yuto smiled. "I have a surprise for you, Izuku," he said, his voice filled with anticipation.
Yuto turns and retrieves a silver briefcase from the sand. He presents it to Izuku, the metal gleaming in the sunlight. "Open it and find out," Yuto says, a hint of excitement in his voice.
Izuku steps forward, his curiosity piqued.
Izuku carefully opened the silver briefcase, his heart racing with anticipation. As he lifted the lid, his eyes widened at the sight of the device nestled within.
The Mage's Belt was a sleek, silver contraption with a distinctive hand-shaped buckle at the center. The buckle was black, its fingers poised as if ready to grasp something. Izuku could feel the power emanating from the device, its mystical aura hinting at the incredible abilities it held.
"Yuto-sensei, is this..." Izuku's voice trailed off, his hands trembling as he reached out to touch the Mage's Belt.
Yuto says, "Yes, this belt is your driver. It is called the Mage's Belt. With it, you can finally use magic."
Izuku is overcome with excitement and joy. His eyes shine with wonder as he carefully lifts the Mage's Belt from the briefcase, feeling its weight in his hands. After years of dreaming, the opportunity to wield magical power is finally within his grasp.
"Yuto-sensei, I don't know what to say," Izuku breathes, his voice trembling with emotion. "This is... incredible. I can really become a mage?"
Yuto nods, a proud smile on his face. "Yes, Izuku. The time has come for you to take the first step on your journey. With the Mage's Belt, you will be able to access your latent magical abilities and fight alongside me as a Kamen Rider."
Izuku clutches the belt tightly, his fingers tracing the intricate details. The weight of the responsibility settles upon him, but it is outweighed by the surge of determination coursing through his veins. After so many years of feeling powerless, he now holds the key to fulfilling his dream of becoming a hero.
Izuku equips the Mage's Belt to his waist, and it snaps to his waist with a click. The weight of the belt is reassuring, a physical manifestation of the power he is about to wield.
Yuto presents another briefcase. "Inside are your magic rings," he says, his voice filled with anticipation.
Izuku opens the briefcase, his heart racing. Inside were nine magic rings, each one gleaming with a design. Izuku's eyes widen as he takes in the sight of these mystical artifacts, each one representing a different aspect of the magical arts.
Yuto showed Izuku the Mage Wizard Ring, the large gem in the center glowing with an emerald light. "Use this one to henshin," he said.
Izuku grabs the ring, his fingers trembling with excitement. He carefully equips it on his left hand, feeling the weight and power of the mystical artifact.
"Now, try to henshin," Yuto says, his voice filled with encouragement.
Izuku looks up at his mentor, his eyes shining with wonder. "Can I really?!" he asks, his heart racing.
Yuto replies, "Sure, this is a special day after all." He gestures towards the Mage's Belt secured around Izuku's waist. "Go ahead, give it a try."
Izuku flicks the lever on the Mage's Belt. The standby noise plays.
[Shabadoobi, Touch Henshin!, Shabadoobi, Touch Henshin!, Shabadoobi, Touch Henshin!]
Izuku scans the Mage Wizard Ring on the Mage's Belt. Izuku says, "Henshin!"
A magic circle appears and it passes through Izuku, enveloping him in a blinding light. As the light fades, Izuku's transformation is complete. He now stands before Yuto, clad in the sleek and mystical armor of Kamen Rider Mage.
Mage's helmet is adorned with a large, ring-shaped visor that shines with a distinct jade color. The armor itself is segmented, with panels that resemble shimmering gemstones or crystals. Mage's shoulders, forearms, and legs are covered in metallic armor, accented by the same jade-like stones. The Mage's Belt is positioned prominently at his waist, the hand-shaped buckle serving as the core of his transformation.
Izuku flexes his fingers, feeling the power coursing through him. The weight of the armor is both familiar and empowering, a tangible representation of the magic he now wields. He looks up at Yuto, his eyes reflecting the same determined glint that had been present in his gaze for the past five months of rigorous training.
Izuku says, "Sensei, I feel so much power...This is amazing!" He flexes his body, testing the strength of his new Kamen Rider Mage form.
Yuto watches, a faint smile playing on his lips. "Glad you're enjoying it, but I did not just let you come here to give you your belt."
Izuku's brow furrows in confusion. "Eh? Is there something else?"
Yuto does not say anything but transforms into Kamen Rider Wizard, his body enveloped in a brilliant flash of light. When the light fades, Wizard stands before Izuku, his Flame Style armor gleaming in the sunlight.
Wizard spoke in a calm, authoritative tone. "We are here for training," he said. "On this beach. We can fight without interruptions."
Wizard raises his hand,
[Connect, Please!]
A magic circle appears. From it, he retrieves his signature weapon, the WizarSwordGun. Izuku watches, his eyes wide with awe and anticipation.
"Since you have trained your body at the minimum level, it is time for some combat exercises," Wizard continues. "Now, use the same ring to get your weapon."
Izuku nods, his heart racing. He quickly grabs the Connect Ring from the briefcase and scans it over the Mage's Belt.
[Connect, Please!] A shimmering magic circle materializes, and Izuku reaches into it, his fingers wrapping around the familiar grip of the WizarSwordGun.
Pulling the weapon out, Izuku marvels at its weight and design. The sleek, silver body and the intricate rune-like patterns on the blade fill him with a sense of power and responsibility. He looks up at Wizard, his eyes shining with determination.
Izuku notices he does not have any rings to change elements. Izuku says "Sensei, do I not have any rings to change elements?"
Wizard says, "Only I can change elements. Don't worry, I'll give you new rings someday to use different elements. It basically functions the same."
Izuku says, "Eh...That's unfair."
Wizard laughs and says, "You have only been a mage for a few minutes, and you're already greedy? You will get them when you are ready. Now, let's fight!"
Izuku says, "Eh! Aren't you going to teach me how to use this first?!" referring to the WizarSwordGun.
Wizard says, "This is me teaching you!"
Izuku says, "No way! I'm not ready to fight you like this, Yuto-sensei. Can't you at least teach me the basics first?"
Izuku's screams could be heard throughout the beach, until late into the night. His cries of frustration echoed across the sand as Wizard relentlessly pushed him in their training session, determined to bring out the full potential of his new student.
