"Ace, where are you going?" Lorna asked, her piercing gaze fixed on him.
"Oh, I'm going to patrol around New York. I'll be back before dinner time," Ace replied casually, already moving towards the door.
But Lorna wasn't about to let him go so easily. "Wait, can I come with you?" she interjected, a hint of eagerness in her voice.
Ace looked at Lorna, seeing the pleading look in her eyes. "Why? You don't really need to," he said.
Lorna insisted, "I want to help you. You've helped me so much, but I haven't done anything for you in return."
"You don't have to feel indebted, Lorna. We're friends, and friends help each other," Ace replied.
Still, Lorna persisted, putting on her best puppy dog eyes. "Please~"
Ace sighed, giving in. "Alright, fine. You can come with."
"Yay~" Lorna exclaimed, excited to join him.
"If you're coming, you're going to need a suit. Let's go to the lab to get you one," Ace said, leading the way.
Ace and Lorna made their way to the lab, Izu trailing closely behind them. As they entered the expansive room filled with high-tech equipment, Ace turned to Lorna.
"So, Lorna, did you have any ideas in mind for your suit?" he asked, curious to hear her thoughts.
Lorna fidgeted slightly, her green hair falling across her face. "Honestly, I didn't really have anything specific in mind," she admitted shyly. "I was just excited to come along and help you."
Ace nodded in understanding, a small smile playing on his lips. "No problem. We'll figure something out." He then faced the large supercomputer in the center of the lab. "Ark, can you create a suit design for Lorna?"
The AI's deep, resonant voice echoed through the room. "Acknowledged. Analyzing Lorna Dane's abilities and preferences."
Lorna watched intently as the supercomputer whirred to life, lines of code and holographic projections filling the air. Ace stood beside her, his gaze fixed on the screen, waiting to see what Ark would come up with.
Ark completed the suit design for Lorna. It was a sleek, form-fitting green bodysuit with a flowing green cloak on her back. The suit also featured an armored face mask that covered her entire face, though it allowed her vibrant green hair to flow freely.
Lorna's eyes lit up with excitement as she examined the suit. "I love it!" she exclaimed.
"Since you approve, Ark, begin constructing the suit," Ace commanded.
Ark's digital presence took control of the lab's equipment, setting the fabrication process in motion to bring Lorna's new suit to life. Whirring machines and glowing holographic interfaces filled the air as the components of the suit were meticulously assembled. Lorna watched in awe, her anticipation growing with each passing moment.
Lorna eyed the sleek, green suit with unbridled excitement. "Can I put it on?!" she asked eagerly.
"Sure, all you need is to touch it, and the suit will attach to you." Ace replied, gesturing towards the sleek green ensemble.
Lorna reaches out, her fingers gently grazing the fabric. Immediately, the suit springs to life, the material flowing and shimmering as it seamlessly attaches to her body. Lorna watches in awe as the suit conforms to her shape, the cloak unfurling and settling around her shoulders.
Once the transformation is complete, Lorna stands before Ace and Izu, the emerald-hued costume accentuating her vibrant green hair and piercing gaze. She flexes her hands, testing the flexibility of the suit, a grin spreading across her face.
"This is amazing!" Lorna exclaims, her voice muffled slightly by the mask. She turns to Ace, eyes sparkling with excitement.
Lorna ran her fingers over the sleek, green suit, marveling at its unique texture. "What is the suit made of?" she asked.
Ace gestured to Izu and Ark. "It's made of Hiden metal. This material can freely change its hardness, plasticity, and density, so the suit should protect you from most physical and energy-based attacks."
Lorna's brow furrowed. "I've never heard of this kind of metal before."
"That's because it was created by us," Ace explained, indicating Izu and Ark. "As far as we know, only we have the ability to produce this specialized alloy."
Lorna's eyes widened. "Incredible..." she breathed.
Ace smiled. "So, now that you have your suit, you'll need a name."
Lorna paused for a moment, then a grin spread across her face. "Then... you can call me Polaris."
"Polaris, huh? I like it," Ace said approvingly. Lorna felt a slight blush creep onto her cheeks at his words.
Ace extended his hand to Polaris. "So, Polaris. Ready to make your debut?"
Polaris grabbed Ace's hand, a faint blush creeping onto her cheeks. "More than ready."
Ace and Lorna headed to the garage, the vast space filled with an impressive array of vehicles. Ace guided Lorna towards the sleek, black motorcycle, the HardBoilder, and gestured towards its aerial mode, the HardTurbuler.
"Make sure to hold on tightly," Ace said, a hint of amusement in his voice.
Lorna felt a flutter in her chest as she wrapped her arms around Ace's waist, the proximity causing a faint blush to creep onto her cheeks. She steeled her nerves, determined to prove herself capable.
Izu approached them, her calm demeanor belying the concern in her eyes. "Take care, you two," she said, her gaze lingering on Lorna.
Ace flashed Izu a reassuring smile. "We'll be back before you know it," he replied, revving the HardTurbuler's engine.
With that, Ace guided the sleek motorcycle into the air, its transformation seamless as they soared away from the mansion, leaving Izu to watch their departure with a pensive expression.
…
Ace and Lorna soared above the bustling city, the wind whipping through their hair as the HardTurbuler's sleek form cut through the air. Lorna's grip tightened around Ace's waist, her heart racing with a mixture of excitement and apprehension.
"So, how exactly do you do your patrols?" she asked, her voice slightly muffled by the helmet.
Ace glanced back at her, a small smile playing on his lips. "Well, I just ride around until an incident happens or Ark or Izu informs me of any major incidents nearby," he explained.
Lorna's brow furrowed slightly. "Don't you ever get bored, just waiting around?" she questioned.
Ace chuckled. "Not at all. There's always something happening in this city, and I have to be ready to respond at a moment's notice," he said, his tone turning more serious.
Lorna nodded, her gaze fixed on the sprawling cityscape below. "I can understand that. With everything that's been going on, it must be a constant battle to keep the peace."
Ace's expression grew contemplative. "It is, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Protecting the innocent is what drives me, and I'll never stop fighting for what's right."
Lorna felt a surge of admiration for the man before her, his unwavering dedication to his cause inspiring her own sense of purpose.
They rode around for a few more minutes, taking in the sights and sounds of the vibrant metropolis. Suddenly, Lorna's sharp eyes spotted a car chase unfolding below. A group of robbers were fleeing from the police, weaving through the traffic.
"Looks like we've got some trouble down there," Ace said, his voice calm and focused.
Lorna turned to him, her eyes gleaming with determination. "What should I do?"
Ace glanced back at her, a small smile playing on his lips. "Well, why don't you try stopping that car?"
Lorna nodded, her expression resolute. Concentrating her powers, she extended her hand towards the fleeing vehicle. A surge of magnetism enveloped the car, and it slowly began to rise off the ground, floating in the air.
The robbers inside the car panicked, their faces twisted with fear as they realized their escape was thwarted. Without hesitation, they jumped out of the car, tumbling to the ground below.
The robbers, their faces twisted with panic, wondered what was happening as they watched their car float in midair. Suddenly, their gaze fell upon the imposing figure of Kamen Rider soaring above them on the HardTurbuler.
"Kamen Rider! Damn it!" one of the robbers shouted, his voice laced with fear.
Polaris, Lorna Dane, gracefully descended from the HardTurbuler, her Polaris suit gleaming in the sunlight. Facing the robbers, she demanded, "Who the hell are you?!"
The robbers, sensing a new threat, instinctively reached for their guns and opened fire. Polaris, however, was unfazed. With a swift motion of her hand, she used her magnetic powers to stop the bullets in their tracks, suspending them in the air. The robbers' eyes widened in disbelief as they watched their weapons being stripped from their hands, floating helplessly above them.
"You can call me Polaris," she stated, her voice calm and authoritative.
Polaris got some parts of the car and used them to restrain the robbers. The robbers could not get out of their restraints.
Polaris looked toward Kamen Rider. "How did I do?"
"Not bad for your first time," Ace said, his voice tinged with approval as he observed Lorna's handiwork. The robbers, now immobilized by the metal bindings, glared at them with a mix of frustration and fear.
Lorna felt a surge of pride at Ace's compliment. "I've been practicing my powers, but it's different putting them into action," she admitted, her gaze sweeping over the defeated criminals.
Ace nodded, his stance relaxed yet alert. "You handled yourself well. I'm impressed." He paused, his expression turning thoughtful. "This was a good test run, but we should get these guys to the authorities before they cause any more trouble."
Lorna agreed, and together they waited for the police to arrive, ensuring the robbers remained secured and unable to escape.
The police cars arrived at the scene, their sirens blaring. The officers swiftly exited their vehicles, their gazes immediately drawn to the imposing figure of Kamen Rider.
"Kamen Rider, good work catching these criminals," one of the officers said, approaching the hero with an appreciative nod.
Kamen Rider raised a gloved hand, shaking his head. "I didn't do anything. It was all her," he said, gesturing towards Polaris.
The officers turned their attention to the green-clad woman, their expressions shifting from surprise to curiosity. "And who might you be, miss?" the lead officer asked.
"I'm Polaris," she replied, her voice calm and assured. "Kamen Rider's new partner."
The officers exchanged a look, seemingly taken aback by this revelation. Kamen Rider stepped forward, his stance projecting an air of confidence.
"She's with me. You can trust her to help keep this city safe," he assured the officers, his words carrying the weight of authority.
The lead officer nodded slowly, a hint of a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Well, in that case, we appreciate the both of you. Keep up the good work."
With that, the police officers turned their attention to the restrained criminals, efficiently handling the situation. Kamen Rider and Polaris exchanged a glance, a silent understanding passing between them.
Without another word, they returned to the HardTurbuler, the sleek vehicle taking to the skies and disappearing into the cityscape.
