A few days ago, I received a commission request for a gender-swap version of Jane Doe. At first, I declined it because I didn’t feel confident I could meet the expectations. But eventually, I thought “why not give it a try?” and started making it on my own.

Actually, I had been working on it little by little before that as well — especially the hair, which I think I changed around 30 times 😢. I even changed the face and added blinking animations! But the outfit felt too feminine, so now I'm planning to replace it completely with something more like a suit — something with a Yakuza vibe.

That basically means I’ll need to remake almost everything from scratch. Still, since I put so much effort into it already, I’m going to wrap up this version even though there are still many missing textures. I can’t just keep working on this forever.

After that, I’ll start over and make a new version of Jane Doe with a new outfit. I also need to hurry up and move on to working on Hugo!
