2025-02-16 00:53:16 +0000 UTCI’d like to believe that just for a sec, just long enough for the fight to end, Edmond releases his grip on Fujimaru’s sanity. The horrors and trauma of what he’s done is swept into his nuclear rage and emboldens him to absolutely tear his enemies apart, to break them piece by piece. Because no matter how Fujimaru may act, no matter how much he genuinely wishes well for others and acts with kindness, he cannot deny the deepest, darkest corner of his mind that revels in annihilating the scum, those undeserving of life. After all, is there nothing as comforting as justice? Despite how undeserving he is of it, despite the blood of millions of people and entire worlds on his hands, he enjoys the moment of vicious vindication.
