[WIP]: July 2022’s exclusive illustration!

You may notice the lines are scratchier - that’s because I opted to use my freehanded style. 😊

It’s where instead of sketching on another layer then lowering the opacity then lining on another above, I go directly to the lineart. It’s a drawing process meant to save time & energy (from having to go back over lines I’ve already drawn), but in retrospect it’s a LOT harder to use. 😭

For one thing, the program I use doesn’t allow me to rotate, enlarge, or shrink shapes without destroying the line quality, and oftentimes I find myself struggling to draw more difficult panels.. 😅

The version you’re seeing here is a mostly cleaned-up version. (You may also notice I’ve began using this drawing style for my recent Vocaloid comics!) The one thing I like about this style is that it has a more rugged, organic feel - it’s less stiff and more expressive than my “clean” sketch-first method. 😄✍️
