Thanks, Dan. Although they are released rarely, every time you post another HH, I re-listen all of them and love it every time.

Yesterday I watched the 2019 movie Midway and it's got me re-binging this series.

Excellent, now I am looking forward to part V where the Japanese are ground into dust. I am curious if you plan on ending with the aftermath of the atomic bombs, or do you follow the story of Japan into the 60's when they have turned themselves around? I would be very interested in learning more about the occupation of Japan as I haven't seen as much about that time period as the war itself.

Absolutely stunning once again Dan.

My teenage son loves playing a WWII plane/ship/tank combat simulator, so this was something we could both enjoy and learn from on our latest long car ride. Thanks for making history come alive!

My grandfather passed away in 2002, but this year I got to meet his 101-year old squadron commander (370th, 307th BG) who still lives in Honolulu. Grandpa was not involved in the battles of Midway or Guadalcanal, but he did spend time at both places during about 14 months of active combat mostly during 1943. I was already caught up on these so *really* enjoyed Part 4.

@Robert Fowler—classic! I also listened while building a shed (here in Japan) but cursed my weak will at blowing through the whole episode in one go.

Blurry fingers

Thanks, Dan!

Dave

Got me extremely excited for part 5! Can't wait to hear you illustrate Australian's involvement in the Pacific and the Kokoda campaign.

Great episode. Was wonderful to listen to as I built my shed.

Dan is a master at his craft

"Together they will shift the momentum in the Pacific theater ...." Er, not "will:" DID. Oy vey.

Yus, thank you Dan

My body Is ready
