Aprils Path...
Added 2020-03-03 01:28:23 +0000 UTCTo get a head start on April we have 2 options outlined below. I'll leave the poll open until Friday 20th AEDT for everyone to decide which direction the party should take:
- We discover the secret door hidden behind one of the bookcases with the passageway beyond leading to an Overgrown Apothecary.
Over the years the plants that were grown for the harvesting of ingredients have slowly overgrown their planting tables and taken over giving the room a look of being created and carved from nature. A domed bay window at one end lets light in. Cabinets encased in the trunks of the plants contain a variety of bottles and ingredients used in the creation of medicines, potions and poisons. The room is obviously still in use with an Apothecary table filled with glass vials.
- A search of the room revealed nothing out of the ordinary so we head back into the corridor and across the hall to the Drawing Room.
A large stone fireplace sits at one end of the panel wall room with it's fire burning brightly. Paintings line the walls. Some of the wall panels have nooks containing vases and ornaments. A large rug sits in-front of the fireplace and has two throne like leather chairs facing the fire. An ornate table sits to one side with a pair of candle lamps and open book.
