SHMATA SHOOT

I did it, I went over to my moms house, installed a permanent green screen and filmed my shmata (rag) video! I still have a couple of shots to do but I can now sink into the cosy bosom of my editing software. It's my favourite bosom!! My least favourite bosom is the post-video-release-bosom.

I actually got in costume, filmed all day, didn't like the voice I was using and then filmed the next day. I was much looser on the second filming and think I did my makeup cuter too. I used little decor stencils from Michaels to do my face makeup and my mom made me sugar doilies to put in tea for a shot. It took us a half a day to install the clothing line that i'm hanging from so that it was sturdy. I'm sorry for not posting last week, I was making the to-scale large and tiny sock props and finishing my costume. I thought it wouldn't be very satisfying to see the socks I was making if it wasn't put into context. I feel really good about this simple set!

wow i wish i could see those dusty rags! I think rags should be more noticed, they say a lot about their owners. Yes the enormous clothespins are very cartoonish.

I love the dress, its fitting to the theme cuz it reminds me of the old dusting rags my grandmother used. She was also the last person i ever saw actually use a clothesline. Something about disproportionally large clothespins reminds me of Tom and Jerry.

I too am pro tiny socks! They were surprising hard the make, theres four shapes that go into making a sock pattern
