Modestycore update
Added 2022-11-08 16:27:51 +0000 UTCI'm going to try and film some of my hardest and final scenes this week ahhhh!! I finally figured out how to make my head look realistically severed from my body thank G-D! It only took a custom-made pillow and green screen suit. I also think I figured out what kind of makeup goes better with this character and feel excited that I didn't just settle for my initial designs. I followed a few Korean beauty tutorials.
I want to try and make this video a bit more surreal than my other "video essays" I'm going to make a conventional video my style and then make another draft where I just fuck around and heavily edit it. I also got help from the awesome YouTuber DeadManAnimations to add some nuance to part of the script. I know this video had taken some time to make but I wanted to get the look, tone, and ideas just right. I'm going to miss this character, I really like doing vocal fry so I'm selfishly savoring her a little longer.

I forgot to comment 2 weeks ago, but I love the set design you're going for in this! The oil rig at night contrasted with the sort-of rococo frame and wallpaper is so striking! And the headless effect looks like it came out really well
