That's cute that you vibe with Zoenie, I've noticed that I've started talking like her lately subconsciously. Oh my gosh I'm looking at Whimsigoth right now and am really excited about this aesthetic. What about it speaks to you? I like how it's a bit more witchy and fairy than traditional goth. This is such an interesting character, tbh I'm really really vibing with her and I love the way she talks. And I love the way you intersect the conversations about aesthetics and code switching. I've been really obsessed with an aesthetic called Whimsigoth lately, and one of the most interesting things about getting neck deep in an aesthetic is learning about the sort of culture surrounding the people who enjoy and express it in their lives. I definitely think about modesty a lot and I love hearing someone else explore the culture that comes with it, especially when it's coming from someone not entrenched in the usual circles where modesty is explored in a very judgemental and conservative way. I definitely think some things are modest and some things aren't in a way that might seem strange to some people, and I'm always ready to learn more from people who think differently about the way they dress. I'm also definitely going to check out the other creators that worked on this video because they have piqued my interest significantly!
