LIC is such a nice place. But it's so expensive nowadays. Don't know if you've been lately, but the Citi building is now Altice. I'm guessing they gave up the naming rights. I didn't look it up. SIlvercup is around Dutch Kills -- didn't make the director's cut 😅. Not sure about Bryant Park, sounds like some sort of classic car event.
2023-04-16 02:44:40 +0000 UTCI've always had a soft spot for LIC - I remember it before it was gentrified. My aunt and uncle lived there for years in an old-time two family. The only time I've ever seen an old-fashioned toilet where the tank was elevated and you had the pull chain. You also failed to mention the huge Citicorp tower. What, no image of the Silvercup sign... or is that actually Astoria? BTW - do you know of anything going on up by Bryant Park last night? Bunch of 50's cars going westbound on 42nd at about 10:30 PM and a lot of people lined up on the street watching them.
