A Note on Sales Tax
Added 2020-05-29 11:03:42 +0000 UTCAs you might have heard, Patreon is soon being tasked by the government to apply sales tax to pledges starting June 1st. I am unclear how this will be implemented exactly, whether it’s based on your state of residence or what, but I wanted you all to be informed of any future price increases applied on the backend, however small. As such I completely understand if you need to adjust or are no longer able to pledge.
This Patreon has long been more a passive way to show support for hi-res, completed works and less an artist’s business model, as it is not my full time job. If you would like to continue to show support but are not cool with sales tax, there’s a tip jar on my FA page, https://www.furaffinity.net/user/wickedstar. This Patreon will still be the primary location to access artwork at higher resolutions and for layered files, but I’m happy to link you the equivalent of a pledge’s reward for a tip of the same amount, so if you go that route feel free to ask for it!
